Strategic Partnerships Manager - Makenzie Moor

Makenzie is in her final year of a Bachelor of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Queensland (UQ). Makenzie has been actively involved with the AYAA since 2016. Her interests within the industry were kick started after attending the Aerospace Futures conference in Sydney. Since then, she has enjoyed working upon a number of AYAA’s other events including the Rocket Project and as Chair of the Australian Youth Aerospace Forum 2018.

Makenzie’s acute interests within the aviation industry are what make her strongly believe that Australia’s aerospace industry has great capacity to grow and thrive. She is passionate about communicating this to the next generation of young aerospace and aviation enthusiasts.

Makenzie has worked at Burrana (previously digEcor), and is currently working on hybrid renewable energy technology at EDL. Makenzie’s dream job involves using her skills in both aerospace and renewable energy. She is passionate and invested in both these industries and looks forward to their continued growth within Australia.
