AF Chair - Ed Muthiah

Ed recently completed his Bachelor of Engineering (R&D) Majoring in Mechanical and Material Systems at the Australian National University (ANU). He is currently working on the hovering Nulka rocket at BAE Systems Australia.
Through the ANU's unique R&D degree Ed has had experience working upon a wide range of research projects. These projects include the Graphene Modified Carbon-Fibre Composites, and the Thermoelastic NDI testing for the ADF’s F/A-18 Hornet and F-35 aircrafts. Additionally, Ed has been privy to a range of internships through Thales, DSTG and QinetiQ.
Inspired by the AYAA's efforts nationally, Ed established AYAA's ACT committee in 2017. In 2018 he hopes to share his aerospace passion and enthusiasm with the youth of Australia as chair of the Aerospace Futures conference.
