Space Generation Congress

The Space Generation Congress (SGC) is the annual meeting of the Space Generation Advisory Council held in conjunction with the International Astronautical Congress. Participants are top university students and young professionals with a passion for space who are selected from among applicants from our Space Generation international network.
With SGC, SGAC aims to hone and promote the voice of the next generation of space sector leaders on the topic of international space development. SGC is proudly endorsed by the United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs.

Since 2011, the AYAA and the Victorian Space Science Education Centre (VSSEC) have joined forces to provide several undergraduate students the opportunity to travel to the Space Generation Congress and the International Astronautical Congress. The Young Australian Space Leader award is presented to students at the Aerospace Futures conference each year, with the students travelling in the same year.
In 2017, the Space Generation Congress will be held in Adelaide. Applications are now open until June 15
